On Friday 20th March, we had a whole school science day. Children had the opportunity to experience a range of interactive sciences. We were lucky enough to have STEM ambassadors from QinetiQ and Malvern Instruments come into school to demonstrate lots of different sciences. Activities included, programming Lego robots to move, making lava lamps and parachutes. Other activities included looking at lasers (which also involved tasting chocolate) & 3D printers as well as finding out about the parts needed to make an XBOX 360. Children and staff thoroughly enjoyed the day and have been inspired to find out more about different types of sciences. Our thanks go to our visitors for giving up their time and showing us so many different experiments.
